This charming and nostalgic Cottage is really two homes in one: StoryBook Cottage downstairs and Lainey's Loft upstairs with a separate outside private entrance for each one.  You have the option of renting either StoryBook Cottage alone (2 bedrooms, full kitchen with breakfast bar, dining/living area, utility room, 1 bath, and huge screened in porch - sleeps 4), Lainey's Loft alone (1 bedroom, 1 bath with dorm frig, microwave, & coffee pot - sleeps 2-4), or a combined 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (both the Cottage and the Loft - sleeps 8).

Both StoryBook Cottage and Lainey's Loft are a wonderfully unique seaside retreat furnished with antiques and collectibles from a bygone era. They have been lovingly restored by their present owners in a shabby chic coastal style with hardwood floors, leaded glass transom, exposed beams, beadboard walls, glass front cabinets, clawfoot tub, ceiling fans everywhere, and faux painting, but also with today's modern conveniences.

StoryBook Cottage is the original 1940's home with a seaside elegance all its own. It features 2 lovely bedrooms with hardwood floors, a full bath with aged wood doors and tub accents, a fully equipped kitchen with exposed beams and a breakfast bar, a living and dining room with hardwood floors and beachy antique chandelier, utility room, and a fabulous 10' x 40' screened porch filled with an antique wicker couch and rockers, 2 ceiling fans, a porch swing, and antique dining table and chairs -- perfect for a sunset margarita! Vintage charm radiates everywhere, and there are treasures to see in every nook and cranny throughout the Cottage.

Lainey's Loft was added several years ago and is located above the Cottage in the back with its own private outside staircase and sitting balcony reminiscent of a Fredericksburg Sunday Haus. The entire Loft has beadboard walls and beadboard ceilings and salvaged and restored hardwood floors throughout. Antiques accent both the bedroom and bath. A queen-sized bed and a daybed with a trundle compose the peaceful serenity of the quaint bedroom. Pull the vintage curtains aside to a clothing closet or a second closet set up with a small refrigerator and microwave. Then step past the salvaged antique wooden door to the bath/spa retreat where you will love the nostalgic romance of the antique claw foot tub. The spacious and very unique bath is filled with other antiques including a cobbler’s bench, rocking chair, salvaged window from an old San Antonio schoolhouse, and a small table set up as a coffee bar. The subdued sconce lighting adds even more atmosphere.

A fully enclosed private outdoor shower, WiFi, and TV's in both the Cottage and the Loft are also available for your use as is a BBQ grill.
